Hey, I started gaming casually around the age of 5, using demo discs that came free with a magazine my father use to buy. Approximately 8 years on, with the arrival of RoL, I became interested in competitive video gaming, although burdened by a 56k modem and not much 1v1 experience (I was an RT noob @ wc3 for a long time), I slowly got into competitive gaming, co-founding the most successful clan in RoL: Nuclear, with a delightful Japanese player by the name Dakimagro. Several months on, with a few hundred dollars and a few hardware prizes later, the grand final of the long running tournament in RoL was about to begin, I qualified, but regrettably due to my age, was unable to participate in the lan due to legal reasons. After this, the game became competitively dead, and the clan split: a few of us going to dota, a few to cnc3 and others retiring. A fan of Command and Conquer games from my youth – in particular RA2 – I started playing Cnc3, the game and I did not get along. I turned to wc3, and played a little bit of ladder, reaching lvl 40 before I quit the game and I decided to give FPS games a shot with the arrival of Broadband. This turned out to be fun, but not a successful move competitively, playing css I reached a “mid” skill level before I quit the game in favour of TF2, which I was playing relatively regularly before the release of RA3. With the arrival of said game I hope to rekindle my competitive RTS spirit and catch up with some old friends from previous games in the process, both of which I have done already.
So, why do I want to join MMC? Well, I know a few players in the clan from previous games: Khufu, Lav and Adjeking. I’m an active competitive player who is constantly seeking improvement, determined to succeed and I see MMC as having the most skilled players, and most likely the best clan in RA3 for the games lifespan.
